Civil Engineer

We are hiring an

experienced Civil Engineer

with expertise in

commercial property development

to lead design and construction oversight for commercial land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater drainage, and utility systems. Collaborate with architects, planners, and developers to create efficient, regulatory-compliant designs. Lead permitting and approval processes with local and state authorities. Prepare blueprints, technical plans, and detailed engineering documentation. Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental standards, and zoning laws.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)

Experience:

5-7 years in commercial land development or civil site design

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility layout Familiarity with zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and project management abilities Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Licensure:

PE license preferred (especially Louisiana or Florida) but not mandatory
