Job-Summary:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer who has strong expertise in preparing, presenting, and managing contractual claims related to National Highway (NH) projects. The candidate must have thorough knowledge of NHAI/ NH offices' procedures and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with NH officers for claims settlement, approvals, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, analyze, and submit claims related to cost, time extension, escalation, and other contractual matters as per NH/ NHAI guidelines.
Liaise with NH offices and officers to ensure timely resolution and settlement of claims.
Draft letters, justifications, and technical reports in compliance with contract conditions.
Maintain proper documentation of site records, correspondences, and claim registers.
Provide technical support to project teams for dispute resolution and contract management.
Attend meetings with NH officers and represent the company for claims discussion and negotiation.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, government guidelines, and company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering (Master's in Construction Management/Contracts preferred).
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in highway/ infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in claims and contracts management.
Strong knowledge of NH/ NHAI contract conditions (EPC, BOT, HAM models).
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
Ability to interact effectively with government authorities and handle claims professionally.
