Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Brief

We are looking for a Civil Engineer with strong on-site execution experience to plan, design, and supervise civil infrastructure projects. The role involves earthworks, surveying, billing, and execution of building and canal works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Review and oversee civil designs and execution drawings

Supervise on-site construction activities including earthworks, structures, buildings, and canal works

Conduct site inspections, surveys, and setting-out activities

Prepare measurements, bills, and quantity certifications as per BOQs

Monitor project progress and submit periodic reports

Manage materials, equipment, and manpower as per project schedules

Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams

Perform quality control checks and ensure structural integrity

Required Technical Skills

Earthwork execution, excavation, embankment, and compaction

Surveying, leveling, and site setting-out

Quantity measurement, billing, and BOQ reconciliation

Building and canal construction practices

Reading and interpretation of drawings and specifications

Basic project scheduling and resource planning

Quality control and safety compliance

Software Skills

AutoCAD / Civil 3D (mandatory)

MS Excel for billing and reporting (mandatory)
