Job Vacancy: Civil Draftsman / Woman
?We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman / Woman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of architectural and structural drafting and be able to transform concepts into accurate technical drawings.
?Key Responsibilities:
?Drafting: Create detailed structural and architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans based on engineer's sketches.
?Software Expertise: Prepare high-quality 2D designs and layouts using AutoCAD. (Knowledge of 3D modeling is an added advantage).
?Site Survey: Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and verify existing conditions.
?Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, municipal rules (KMBR/KPBR), and industry standards.
?Coordination: Work closely with Architects and Civil Engineers to ensure project deadlines and technical specifications are met.
?Documentation: Maintain and organize digital and physical project files and drawing registers.
?Qualifications & Skills:
?Education: ITI (Draftsman Civil), Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
?Experience: [Insert Years, e.g., 1-3 years] of experience in civil drafting or construction. (Freshers with exceptional skills may also apply).
?Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory. Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max is a plus.
?Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in preparing technical drawings and calculating measurements.
?Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
