Draughtsman - Architecture, Structure & Interior Design

B.E/ Diploma - Civil Engineering with minimum of

two years'

experience at Shanmugam Associates, an architecture & design firm, based out of Trichy.

Duties & responsibilities:

Ensuring the quality standards are maintained in all drawings

Collaborate with management and client to align work for desired outcomes

Collaborate with other team members (Architects/ Engineers)

Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings. Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems. Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations. Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team. Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Civil

Considerable experience in a similar position

Attention to detail

Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software, STAAD

Strong time and project management

Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies

Should be a good team player
