Job Summary

The Civil Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate civil drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves translating design concepts, specifications, and calculations into detailed construction drawings as per applicable standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Civil Drawings Preparation

Prepare

architectural coordination drawings

Develop

GFC (Good for Construction) drawings

Prepare

as-built drawings

after project completion Revise drawings based on site requirements and consultant feedback

2. Structural Drawings

RCC drawings (Footing, Column, Beam, Slab) Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) Foundation layouts Staircase reinforcement details

3. Architectural Drawings

Floor plans, elevations, and sections Door & window schedules Staircase details Toilet, kitchen, and finishing layouts

4. Site & Layout Drawings

Site layout plans Setting-out drawings Levels, grid lines, and reference points Compound wall & external development drawings

5. Services Coordination Drawings

Coordination with

MEP drawings

(Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) Sleeve & opening details in structural drawings Drainage & rainwater harvesting layouts

6. Infrastructure Drawings (if applicable)

Road layout & pavement drawings Storm water drainage drawings Sewage and water supply layouts Manhole and chamber details

Software & Tools

AutoCAD (Mandatory) Revit (Added advantage) MS Excel (basic BOQ support) Knowledge of BIS / IS codes (preferred)

Coordination & Site Support

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site team Assist site engineers with drawing clarifications Update drawings as per site modifications Maintain drawing records and revisions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / ITI / Certification in Civil Drafting Minimum

2 years

experience in civil drafting Strong understanding of construction practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good attention to detail and time management

Preferred Experience

Residential / Commercial / Industrial projects Interior fit-out & civil coordination (if applicable) Site exposure is an added advantage

Salary & Benefits

As per company standards and experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?32,875.21 per month
