Position Title:

Civil Draftsman

Experience Required:

5-6 years

Software Skills:

AutoCAD (mandatory), knowledge of other drafting/design tools will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, develop, and modify civil engineering drawings and layouts using

AutoCAD

in line with project requirements. Draft detailed

structural, architectural, and civil drawings

, including site plans, road layouts, drainage systems, utilities, and foundation details. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings. Review and update drawings based on

engineering changes, design modifications, and client feedback

. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant

codes, standards, and project specifications

. Maintain drawing records, version control, and documentation for easy retrieval. Provide accurate

quantity take-offs

and assist in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities). Coordinate with site teams for drawing clarifications and issue revised drawings as required.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in

AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

drafting with hands-on experience in civil and structural drawings. Strong knowledge of

construction standards, detailing, and technical specifications

. Ability to read and interpret

architectural and engineering drawings

. Good understanding of

survey data, levels, and measurements

. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Effective communication skills to work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship (or equivalent qualification). Certification in AutoCAD

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have

5-6 years of hands-on drafting experience

, primarily in civil/structural projects, with a proven ability to deliver accurate drawings under deadlines. A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as in a team, ensuring high-quality drafting output.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
