Job Description

The Civil Designer will support the engineering and design team by preparing accurate drawings, 2D & 3D models, and technical documents for civil construction projects. The role requires basic understanding of design standards, drafting tools, and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and plans for site development, roads, pipelines, buildings, and landscaping using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).

Work closely with civil engineers and project managers to understand requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings.

Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, building codes, and project specifications, conducting quality checks for accuracy.

Modify and update drawings to incorporate design changes, feedback, and site verification data

Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.

Conduct site visits to gather data, verify measurements, and resolve technical issue

Required Skills

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Basic knowledge of

Revit / SketchUp / Civil 3D

(added advantage). Understanding of

civil engineering drawings and standards

. Ability to read and interpret

plans, sections, and structural details

. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of construction methodologies.

Qualifications

Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Minimum

1 year experience

in drafting/design of civil projects.

Preferred Experience

Experience in

residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
