An Ideal Candidate:
The Ideal candidate should be an bachelor's degree in law (LL.B) from a reputed university; a master's degree (LL.M) will be an added advantage.

He Should have practiced actively in the Calcutta High Court with proven track record in civil litigation.
He Should have 15 to 20 years of total legal experience, including corporate legal experience with large Indian manufacturing companies.
Should have handled legal issues related to land, labour, industrial disputes, contracts, and regulatory matters.
Should be Familiarity with industrial laws, company law, and real estate law is highly desirable.
Skills & Attributes:
Should have Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Bengali.
Should have Strong legal acumen, analytical thinking, and courtroom presence.
Well-versed in drafting and interpreting legal documents.
He should have Ability to handle pressure and work independently as well as in a team.
Background in good schooling and college education will be preferred
Key Competencies:
1 Represent the company in civil legal matters before the Calcutta High Court and other forums as required.
2. Draft, vet, and review contracts, legal documents, pleadings, affidavits, writ petitions, etc.
3. Handle disputes related to property, contracts, regulatory compliance, and labour/civil litigations.
4. Liaise with external counsels, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance.
5.Advise senior management on legal strategy and risks for corporate and commercial matters.
6.Support due diligence and legal vetting processes in land acquisition, leasing, and infrastructure-related matters.
7.Maintain accurate documentation and regular updates on ongoing cases, hearings, and outcomes.
8 Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide proactive legal guidance.
