We are seeking a dedicated Civil Construction Purchase professional to manage procurement activities for our construction projects. The role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely material delivery, evaluating quotations, and maintaining accurate purchase documentation. Strong coordination with the site team and internal departments is essential for smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end purchase activities for construction materials.
Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Finalize rates, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely material delivery to site.
Maintain material records, delivery schedules, and reconciliation reports.
Work closely with the site team to understand material requirements.
Maintain vendor databases and assess vendor performance.
Coordinate with accounts/finance for invoice clearance and documentation.
Track project material consumption and highlight discrepancies.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and purchase procedures.
Experience in vendor management and procurement documentation.
Good understanding of BOQ, material specifications, and site requirements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase-related software (if applicable).
Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
Eligibility:
Qualification - B Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience - 1 - 3+ years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
