Job Description

A Civil Engineering Faculty member teaches, researches, and mentors students in designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure like bridges, roads, and water systems, focusing on practical skills, modern tech, and sustainability, while also conducting research, advising students, and contributing to curriculum development and industry outreach. They cover core areas like structural analysis, soil mechanics, hydraulics, and environmental engineering, bridging theory with real-world application in a dynamic, society-focused discipline. Core Responsibilities

Teaching & Mentoring:

Delivering lectures, practicals, and assessments in subjects like Strength of Materials, Structural Analysis, Concrete Technology, Surveying, and Transportation.

Research & Innovation:

Conducting research, publishing findings, and staying updated on new technologies, collaborating with industry and other institutions.

Curriculum Development:

Ensuring courses meet industry standards and incorporate sustainability and modern challenges like urban planning.

Lab Management:

Overseeing labs (e.g., soil mechanics, fluids, surveying) with modern instruments and qualified staff.

Student Support:

Advising students, guiding projects, and fostering a strong learning environment. Should take Autocad, 3 ds max, Revit arch, BIM, SKETCH UP ........ SHOULD take online classes
