Job Description

Develop architectural and civil engineering designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Work on conceptual, schematic, and detailed design phases, including site layout, foundation, structural, and facade designs. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to prepare detailed design documents and construction plans. Supervise the preparation of construction drawings and 3D models using design software. Plan site layouts, incorporating aspects like drainage, landscaping, and utilities. Assist in managing construction activities, ensuring designs are followed accurately. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to architectural and civil engineering standards. Resolve on-site construction issues and make necessary design modifications when required. Ensure that materials, methods, and processes adhere to quality and safety standards. Review contractor performance and manage any design revisions required during construction. Integrate sustainable design practices, such as energy-efficient solutions, green building materials, and environmentally conscious approaches. Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and techniques to incorporate into design plans. Meet with clients to understand their project requirements, provide design recommendations, and offer progress updates. Prepare and present design proposals and feasibility studies to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
