Role Summary:
We are seeking a result-driven and dynamic Field Sales Manager to lead and grow our on-ground sales team. The ideal candidate will oversee primary and secondary sales, develop new retail/distributor channels, and ensure strong in-market execution of our brand's vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Drive primary & secondary sales across assigned territory.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Plan and execute area-wise beat plans and route optimizations.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage field sales executives and distributor staff.
Supervise daily performance, productivity, and reporting.
Distributor & Dealer Network:
Appoint, onboard, and manage channel partners (distributors/dealers).
Ensure timely billing, dispatches, stock rotation, and payment collection.
Market Development:
Identify new business opportunities, retail points, and key accounts.
Conduct retail mapping and market visits for competitor tracking.
Reporting & MIS:
Maintain sales reports, beat-wise performance data, and market intelligence.
Provide feedback to HO on product acceptance and local demand trends.
Required Skills:
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Sound knowledge of channel sales and territory management
Excellent leadership and communication
Self-motivated with ability to work in dynamic field environments
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
3-7 years of field sales experience in FMCG / food / wellness industry
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting apps
