Job Description

Responsibilities: * Support execution of strategic energy infrastructure plans aligned with city planning and service integration.

• Manage detailed design and engineering of electrical distribution, renewable energy systems, EV charging infrastructure, and ELV components.
• Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications, and technical reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian and international standards e.g., NEC, IEC, BIS, MSEDCL, BEST Undertaking, Adani Electricity guidelines and local statutory requirements.
• Facilitate adoption of sustainable, energy-efficient, and smart technologies in energy systems.
• Conduct feasibility checks, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize performance and cost.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, mechanical, plumbing, ICT, and PMC teams for integrated design delivery. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities on technical and execution matters.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes in electrical engineering.
• Monitor deployment of microgrids, battery storage, and energy management systems.
• Support integration of Smart City and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, fault diagnostics, and energy optimization.
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases of electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Provide regular updates to the Head - City Energy Utilities and Advisor - Infra on progress, risks, and resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's degree in Business Administration or Project Management being optional. Certifications in Energy Systems, Smart Grid, PMP, LEED AP, etc. are also desirable.
• 8-12 years of work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in energy infrastructure delivery in mid to large-scale organisations. The candidate should have experience in managing multi-site infrastructure projects within MNCs, Indian companies, or conglomerates, specifically in the Real Estate, Infrastructure, Utilities, and Smart Cities sectors. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate expertise in electrical distribution, renewable energy, smart grids, ELV systems, execution excellence, coordination, and stakeholder management.
