Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Support and execute Cisco to Arista network migration projects

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Arista switches using EOS and associated tools

Perform network configuration and support activities on Cisco IOS / NX-OS platforms

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Wireshark, NetFlow, and SNMP

Support Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)

Participate in enterprise network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and migrations

Ensure network stability, availability, and performance during business hours

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network operations and change implementation

Maintain network documentation and follow change management processes

Required Skills & Experience :

5-8 years of overall network engineering experience

Hands-on experience with Arista EOS and Arista switching platforms

Working knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (IOS / NX-OS)

Strong understanding of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking concepts

Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP

Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP)

Preferred Skills :

Exposure to network automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting

Experience with enterprise-scale network migrations or hardware refresh projects

Understanding of network best practices, high availability, and redundancy concepts

Strong documentation and communication skills.
