Job Description

The Usher is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by assisting customers throughout their visit to the cineplex. This includes greeting and guiding guests, managing auditorium entry/exit, assisting at counters, operating POS systems, and maintaining cleanliness & safety standards. Knowledge of the Vista cinema management system will be an added advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Front-of-House Operations



Welcome guests warmly and guide them to screens, seats, and facilities. Assist guests with inquiries related to showtimes, seating, and cinema facilities. Ensure queue management and smooth flow of guests at entry and concession counters. Support guests with special needs, senior citizens, or families requiring assistance.

POS & Counter Operations



Operate Point of Sale (POS) system for ticketing and/or concessions. Handle cash, card, UPI, and digital payments accurately. Promote combo offers, upgrades, and loyalty programs to increase sales. Manage basic stock handling at concession counters (popcorn, beverages, snacks).

Auditorium & Safety Management



Check tickets and ensure guests enter the correct auditorium. Conduct pre-show checks for cleanliness, screen quality, sound, seat conditions, and safety. Monitor audience behavior and maintain discipline inside the auditorium. Ensure timely show start, interval, and end-of-show routines. Follow emergency procedures and safety protocols when required.

Cleanliness & Hygiene



Maintain cleanliness of lobby, counters, restrooms, and auditoriums. Ensure quick turnaround of auditorium cleaning between shows. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitization standards.

Skills & Qualifications



Education:

12th Pass / Graduate (preferred)

Experience:

0-2 years in customer service, hospitality, cinema, or retail.

Preferred Skills:



Experience in cinema operations or hospitality industry. Working knowledge of

Vista Software

(preferred). Good communication skills (English & Local Language). Customer-focused attitude with a pleasant and energetic personality. Basic computer knowledge & POS handling skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
