: Cinematographer
(Campus-Based)

Role Overview
The Cinematographer will work full-time from campus and will be responsible for
planning, shooting and delivering high-quality video content that showcases daily
school life, events, academics, sports, student activities, and other highlights. The
primary goal is to generate a high volume of engaging videos that support brand
visibility, social media growth, and admissions.
This role requires strong technical skills in operating cameras, mobile devices, DSLR
setups, lighting equipment, stabilizers, and audio gear. The candidate must also
have basic video editing skills to support the editor when required.
Key Responsibilities
? Capture high-quality video content across the campus - classrooms, events,
labs, sports, hostel, and day-to-day activities.
? Work closely with the marketing team to plan daily/weekly shoot schedules.
? Shoot a high volume of short-form clips suitable for Reels, YouTube Shorts,
and other platforms.
? Ensure proper lighting, framing, composition, and audio quality in all footage.
? Handle all equipment including camera, DSLR, mobile rigs, gimbals,
stabilizers, lights, microphones, etc.
? Transfer raw footage to the editor daily and ensure proper file naming and
organization.
? Assist in editing videos when the editor is busy or unavailable - basic
knowledge of Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools is required.
? Maintain, clean, and safeguard all video equipment.
? Stay updated on video trends, transitions, and formats relevant to social
media.
? Coordinate with teachers, staff, and students to capture intended stories and
moments.
? Support the marketing team during major campus events, open houses,
career fairs, competitions, etc.
? Ensure timely delivery of videos as per content calendar requirements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
? Daily Output: Ability to shoot and deliver minimum 2 videos per day.
? Turnaround Time: Raw footage must be shot and handed over the same day.
? Video Rejection Rate: Not more than 5 rejections per month due to poor
lighting, framing, or stability.
? Content Volume: Minimum number of high-quality clips captured per week
(to be defined by management).
? Engagement Metrics: Videos should contribute to improved social media
engagement (reach, views, watch time, shares).
? Reliability & Discipline: Maintaining daily logs of shoots and submitting
footage without delays.
? Equipment Handling: Zero avoidable damage to cameras, lights, or
accessories.
Required Skills & Qualifications
? Proven experience as a cinematographer, videographer, or similar role.
? Strong knowledge of camera operations, DSLR shooting, mobile videography,
lighting setups, and audio capture.
? Familiarity with gimbals, tripods, stabilizers, and other accessories.
? Basic editing skills using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or mobile
editing apps.
? Creative eye for storytelling, composition, and capturing candid moments.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
? Good communication, coordination, and adaptability.
? Having their own professional gadgets/equipment (camera, mic, gimbal,
lighting, etc.) will be considered an added advantage.

? Ability to spot opportunities for viral or high-engagement content.
? Willingness to work flexible hours during school events or special shoots.
? Highly organized and disciplined in managing files and equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
