Looking for an ideal candidate having 5-10 years of experience in managing the profile of Logistics, Exports and Imports.

Client is a leading Industry in Manufacturing of Li-ion battery coming up with its green field project.

Job Title: Asst.Manager - Logistics EXIM

Education and Experience : B.Com/B.A. with M.B.A. in operations/logistics with 5-10 years of experience in Logistics EXIM

:

• Responsible for developing the Logistic partners, Forwarders & CHA for export, Import & Local transport of material, Service optimization.
• Acts as a liaison between suppliers, Service provider, relevant internal departments.
• Manage the Imports and Exports at different air / seaports in India.
• Work with freight forwarders.
• Strong hold on the imports and export procedure for Dangerous goods.
• Responsible for In-time Shipments clearance from customs.
• Assuring timely clearance from customs without any demurrage, detention, penalty charges and interest Coordinating with international suppliers and local clearing agent (CHA) to facilitate smooth shipments.
• Preparing and maintaining all import-related documents.
• Tracking and regular follow up of shipments.
• Coordinating with finance for import documents and creation of Letter of Credits as and when required.
• Coordination with Suppliers for arranging Shipment pickup, pre-shipment document verification.
• Experience to deal with overseas vendor like China, south Korea etc.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Well versed with Custom rules & notification & Queries to be presented for shipments.
• Work experience in SAP MM module.
