Job Summary:

Looking for an experienced

CICS & MQ System Programmer

with strong hands-on expertise in installation, maintenance, and administration of CICS and MQ on zSeries platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and administer

MQ and CICS

software on z/OS. Manage maintenance releases, red alerts, and emergency patches. Implement and support

MQ shared queues

, clusters, and CICS advanced features (CPSM, LOGR, Web Services, SSL). Collaborate with application teams on design and performance tuning. Conduct

proof of concepts

, vendor coordination, and maintain best practice documentation. Support DR, automation, change management, and performance optimization.

Technical Skills:

CICS TS v5.x, MQ v7/v8, SMPE, Mainview/Omegamon, REXX/Scripting, USS, RACF/ACF2, IIB, Pub-Sub, CPSM, CAFC, Java, XML.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
