Manage and develop a team of individuals to provide portfolio management and underwriting support to the entire industry
Engage coverage officers and relationship managers which may often lead the credit approval process through Wholesale Credit Risk and more experienced management
Identify and recommend patterns or opportunities for overall industry or macroeconomic trends and how they may impact the overall portfolio and timely manage any risks and opportunities that may be presented
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding underwriting strategies, deal positioning, and relationship management strategies that involve credit of CIB Portfolio Management to meet business objectives
Interpret and develop policies and compliance requirements for timely managing any risks and opportunities identified
Collaborate with and consult with coverage officers, relationship managers, and more experienced management to provide support to the entire industry team
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for CIB Portfolio Management
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of CIB Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience

Experienced in leading a team of Corporate Banking Portfolio Management and Credit research process
Work on various work streams that form key components of Wells Fargo's Corporate Banking debt financing, F/X and/or Rates products, across sectors
Assist in preparing Credit memos, credit reports or annual reviews for corporate clients including support in drafting company/borrower overviews, business description, industry overviews, corporate actions and in performing historical financial analysis and industry or peer analysis
Work on borrower rating, capital structure and covenant analysis
Work on publishing Quarterly or annual earnings summaries for target portfolio companies and in tracking credit rating reports or equity reports
Prepare market or sector updates, sector newsletters to keep a track of key market developments
Monitor and track covenant compliance
Support in drafting non-borrower reports, Annual credit reviews or CAC Memos
Develop excellent working knowledge of market database tools e.g. FactSet, Thomson one, Capital IQ, Moody's, S&P etc.
Interact with multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired goal
Responsible for training and guiding junior and new analysts, resolving their project related queries and performing quality check on client deliverables
Manage day-to-day project execution and assist the Team lead in workflow management
Job Expectations:
MBA, CA, CFA or Masters in Finance from a premier education institute
12-14 years' experience in Corporate Banking, Credit research or Debt advisory
3-5 years experience in handling teams of 10-20 TMs
Experience in covering in FIG sector focusing on any of the following sub-sectors (Banks, Insurance, Specialty Finance, Real Estate)
Strong inclination towards building a career in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Capital Markets
Good understanding of Credit metrics, Covenants, Capital structure, Financial statement and ratio analysis
Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders
Strong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem solving approach
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications - Power Point and Excel
Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Results driven, accountable and ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
