Our Team

Reconciliation Platform (RP) performs the key control of reconciling the books and records of the firm and their clients. Every day we reconcile the bank statements of 10,500 accounts owned by JPM and 18,475 accounts actioned by JPM on behalf of our clients, with our internal ledgers. In addition to providing this important control on the movement of Cash for JPM, we also reconcile daily Securities (Stock and Bond) activity at a transaction and position level to the market on behalf of the CIB.

We are a centralized utility providing the following:

  • Single point of contact for Regulatory audits (example: SOX, SOC1), as there are multiple global regulations (example: CASS, MIFID) where reconciliations is required between external and internal records of activity.
  • A common operating model, driving Business alignment across all stakeholders and product alignment consistently across the firm utilizing iRECs as the standard reconciliation platform.
  • Transparency at month and quarter end to Operations/Finance and liquidity for balance sheet representation to the market.
  • Governance on the accounts and enhance reconciliation using the latest data analytics and digital tools.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide effective, efficient and timely information for the standard reporting cycles (monthly governance & steering groups, quarterly mark-to-markets and annual budget season) as well as on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Effectively drive toward robust set of delivery milestones. Understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in product development lifecycle.
  • Metrics Insights & Analytics : Create powerful, detailed insights that support data-driven decision making, and convert insights into tangible benefits for the business.
  • Demonstrate governance by ensuring that: (a) workstreams and initiatives are tracked and actively managed, (b) KPI's are agreed, measured and tracked, (c) deliverables are properly prioritized and sequenced, (d) risks are addressed and status measured, and (e) deliveries are successful.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners across including senior leaders in the Business, Technology, Design, Operations, and control functions across lines of business.
  • Represent the Change Mobilization vision, strategy, and product roadmap with key senior stakeholders and in high-visibility forums.
  • Provide program management on business related programs; collaborate with all stakeholders, track and create the discipline on all such programs. Create a sustainable model around this
Qualifications/ Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in Data Governance, Project Management, or Business Management functions
  • Knowledge and experience in data management and technology functions preferred
  • Understanding of and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik)
  • Experience in data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, Experience in data transformation tools, such as Alteryx
  • Extensive experience managing delivery across multiple streams with varying timelines, priorities and complexities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
  • Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations - with the ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions.
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
  • Creative and innovative problem solver, with attention to detail, ability to communicate new ideas, and inspire support
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently, driving projects to completion.
