Your roles & responsibilities will include: Review and improve the end-to-end control process around ,propose optimum future process to the business Work closely with operationssubject matter experts, business analysts, projectmanager and other stakeholders in production of test plan/strategies Requirement Gathering , Analyze and review requirements , Documentation with BRD, able to write user stories Assist in the definition and measurement of quality gates, and the generation ofstage/progress reports as defined by theproject Develop process and system enhancement recommendation, Work with business and Technology group to prioritize the requirements by presenting the business case Co-ordinate test execution(wherever designated) across project work streams Provides input to the UAT Test Strategy / PlanDesign/Develop test scripts (manual and automated as the case may be) for the applications assigned for testing, Co-ordinate test execution(wherever designated) across project work streams Report and follow up on of software/process defects and track to closure. Ensure that deliverables are produced as per the agreedtimescale, budget and quality. . Domain knowledge of Fund Accounting and Portfolio Accounting (Mutual/Pension fund/Hedge Funds), Capital Markets, Investment banking, Custody operations, and related areas. . Knowledge of Fund Accounting products like SunGard InvestOne, Advent's Geneva and others - will be highly advantageous. Strong understanding of Trade ,Income & COAC , PRICING & Recon activity Reporting and SDLC, Testing lifecycle Excellent business analysis skills to drill down the complex requirements Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including Senior Business executives Excellent problem solving skills in order to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues Self-motivated and ability to deliver with minimal supervision Understanding of the end-to-end transaction cycle Excellent problem solving skills in order to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues . Prior experience of delivering testing projects in the areas of Mutual Funds, Fund accounting, Alternative Investments and Capital markets . Exposure to test management tools like HP ALM, Zypher and JIRA . Sound knowledge of SDLC, Testing lifecycle, Test Design techniques and Bug Reporting Protocols
