What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

You will be responsible for leading deployment of the continuous improvement tools and processes of the Eaton Business System, including Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) in support of overall plant objectives.
In this function, you will:

• Serve as a member of the Plant team, fulfilling duties and providing input for strategy, direction & continuous improvement.
• Drive factory cost out by partnering with Operations and Support Functions to develop plans that address current and future challenges through the use of Lean & CI tools.
• Support Continuous Improvement Framework deployment (visual controls, process standardization, standard work, Gemba walks, daily accountability and process checks)
• Integrate ELSS tool deployment through tool experts (Value Stream Mapping, 5S+, Standard Work, TPM, Setup Reduction, Error Proofing, and Problem Solving).
• Lead and support successful kaizen / Rapid Improvement Events (RIE).
• Ensure capability and sustainability through Lean & CI training.
• Support capital expenditure projects and implementation of new equipment

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience deploying lean manufacturing tools (5S, Standard Work, TPM, Set Up Reduction, 3P, etc.) and running Kaizen events

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Lean/Six Sigma certification
• Project management experience
