The CHP Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Biomass Handling Plant (CHP) including conveyors, crushers, feeders, stackers, reclaimers, and associated auxiliaries. The role ensures uninterrupted fuel supply to the boilers and maintains smooth functioning of the plant as per operational and safety standards.

Carry out
start-up, shutdown, and changeover operations
of CHP systems.
Maintain
logbooks and shift records
of operations, fuel receipt, and consumption.
Assist in
troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and coordination with maintenance teams
for breakdowns.
Ensure adherence to
safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards
in CHP areas.
Support in
emergency handling
like equipment tripping, fire incidents, or fuel blockages.
Report deviations, breakdowns, and unusual observations to the
Shift Engineer/Incharge
.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Plant or equivalent.
Experience:
2-5 years in CHP operations in Thermal/Biomass/Power plants
Skills Required:
Knowledge of CHP systems, conveyors, crushers, feeders.
Ability to operate plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Basic mechanical & electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
Plant-based role with
rotational shifts
(day/night).
Exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor conditions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
