We are seeking a highly skilled Chocolatier Consultant to collaborate with our team in developing a unique and market-ready chocolate recipe. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of chocolate formulation suitable for large-scale production while retaining artisanal quality.
Key Responsibilities
Recipe Development:
Create an innovative chocolate recipe aligned with the brand's positioning and target market.
Ingredient Sourcing Guidance:
Recommend suitable ingredients, including cocoa beans, flavor infusions, and inclusions, with scalability in mind.
Process Standardization:
Translate artisanal methods into scalable formulations for FMCG production.
Sensory Profiling:
Conduct tasting sessions to ensure flavor balance, texture, and consumer appeal.
Shelf-Life & Stability:
Advise on product stability, packaging compatibility, and storage conditions.
Knowledge Transfer:
Provide training and documentation for the production team to replicate recipes consistently.
Market Adaptation:
Adapt recipe for different consumer segments (premium, mass, or health-conscious).
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or Product Developer with a focus on chocolate.
Strong knowledge of
c
hocolate tempering, flavor pairing, and recipe formulation.
Familiarity with FMCG production processes, scalability, and compliance.
Prior experience in consulting or freelance recipe development is an advantage.
