POSITION - CHIPS MANUFACTURING MANAGER AND PRODUCTION CONTROLLER

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chips Manufacturing Manager to oversee the full spectrum of our chips production operations, with a specialized focus on flavor blending, quality assurance, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of food manufacturing processes, a creative palate for flavor development, and a strong command of production workflows and safety standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

n Oversee day-to-day operations of chips manufacturing from raw material intake to final packaging.

n Design and implement flavor blending protocols that align with market trends and customer preferences.

n Ensure consistent taste, texture, and quality control across batches and production lines.

n Collaborate with R&D and marketing teams to develop and test new chip flavors.

n Optimize production schedules to meet demand forecasts while minimizing downtime and waste.

n Monitor machinery & equipment performance; schedule maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.

n Enforce compliance with local food safety regulations hygiene standards, and SOPs.

n Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

n Manage and train a team of production supervisors, operators, and quality control personnel

n Ensure cost-effective use of materials, labor, and resources

QUALIFICATIONS:

n Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.

n 5+ years of experience in snack food manufacturing, preferably chips or similar FMCG products.

n Proven track record in flavor formulation and sensory evaluation.

n Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, automation systems, & quality control tools.

n Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

n Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

n Ability to innovate and experiment with new flavor profiles.

n Familiarity with ERP systems and digital production monitoring tools.

n Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities under pressure.
