We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chinese Language Trainer to deliver high-quality instruction to students/learners of various age groups and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate should have strong command of Mandarin Chinese, a structured teaching approach, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Chinese language lessons (Mandarin) to individuals or groups in accordance with curriculum objectives.
Plan and develop engaging lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback and evaluations.
Customize teaching methods based on learners' needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds.
Use various teaching tools and digital platforms for interactive learning.
Stay updated with new teaching methodologies and incorporate them into training.
Maintain records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
Support language certification preparations (e.g., HSK, TOCFL, etc.), if applicable.
Collaborate with other trainers or academic staff for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (native or near-native level).
Phd's degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Education, or related field (Master's preferred).
Teaching certification (e.g. HSK Examiner Certificate) is an advantage.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching Chinese to non-native speakers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
Ability to engage learners and adapt teaching style to various audiences.
