Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes such as noodles, fried rice, soups, momos, spring rolls, Manchurian, etc.
Maintain food presentation and portion control as per restaurant standards.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
Monitor and manage food inventory, and assist in ordering supplies.
Work efficiently to meet order timelines during busy hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations and food safety guidelines.
Assist in menu planning and introducing new items.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chinese Cook in a restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, and ingredients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to work long hours, especially during peak time.
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in regional Chinese styles such as Indo-Chinese, Sichuan, or Cantonese is a plus.
Basic understanding of food costing and kitchen operations.
