Cook food according to recipes and the guidance of senior chefs, operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers, and ensure food is cooked sufficiently and meets quality standards.
Set up and break down their workstation; maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing and disinfecting all tools, equipment, and work surfaces.
Assist with receiving deliveries, proper storage, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
Follow all company safety and security policies, report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions, and ensure proper food temperatures are maintained.
