Job Overview



We are hiring a

highly skilled Chinese Chef with exceptional culinary mastery

, specializing in authentic Chinese flavours,

advanced wok techniques, traditional sauces, and premium Asian cooking styles. The candidate must uphold 5-star quality

standards with consistency, discipline, and precision.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare authentic

Chinese dishes with expert precision, flavour balance

, and premium presentation. Specialize in

wok mastery, sauces, gravies, stir-fry techniques, and signature Asian preparations

.

Maintain 5-star consistency in taste, texture,

portioning, and plating. Handle mise-en-place, section prep, and high-volume operations with speed and accuracy. Ensure strict hygiene,

HACCP adherence, and kitchen safety protocols.

Innovate new dishes and contribute to menu development with modern Chinese cuisine ideas. Monitor stock, specialty ingredients, and coordinate for procurement. Work collaboratively with

CDPs, DCDPs, and Commis for seamless kitchen operations.

Maintain discipline, kitchen cleanliness, and operational readiness at all times.

Key Skills Required (Point-Wise)



Mastery in Chinese cuisine

: wok handling, sauces, stocks, seasoning profiles, noodles, rice, and appetizers. Strong command over knife skills, ingredient handling, high-heat cooking, and timing. Ability to maintain quality under pressure in fast-paced, premium kitchens. Expertise in plating, presentation, and modern Asian culinary techniques. Strong discipline, teamwork, communication, and operational understanding. Ability to train junior staff and maintain recipe standards.

Eligibility Criteria



Mandatory experience in 5-star hotels or luxury fine-dining restaurants

specializing in Chinese cuisine. Minimum 4-8 years of experience in relevant roles with proven technical expertise. Candidate must demonstrate

food mastery

, consistency, and premium culinary standards.
