Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, including but not limited to Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, and Beijing-style cuisines.
Develop new menu items and specials in line with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
Monitor food stock levels and order ingredients as needed.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Collaborate with restaurant management to plan menus, estimate food requirements, and control costs.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
Manage kitchen operations during busy hours and ensure smooth service delivery.
