Job Description

A Child Care Provider is responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and overall development of children in a childcare facility or home-based setting. The main goal is to support families by offering a nurturing, structured, and educational environment for children to grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Plan and implement age-appropriate learning and fun activities to stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Keep records of each child's development, interests, and routine. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks as per guidelines. Assist children with personal hygiene, including toileting and handwashing, and advise on grooming habits. Provide first aid or CPR as required, maintaining certifications as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all play areas, toys, and equipment. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns. Support children individually or in groups with lesson projects and homework. Encourage children to develop new interests and skills while fostering self-esteem and respectful attitudes.
