Chief Growth Officer
to drive business expansion across international, domestic, and institutional markets.
Role Overview
The Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for spearheading revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening the brand's footprint globally and within India. This leadership role involves developing strategic sales initiatives, cultivating high-value client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting authentic art and handicrafts through diverse sales channels.
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with a deep appreciation for art, cultural heritage, and craftsmanship.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Strategy
Identify, evaluate, and pursue business opportunities across international, domestic retail, and institutional markets.
Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Conduct market research on emerging trends, potential clients, and competitor activity within the art and handicrafts segment.
Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
Market Expansion & Partnerships
Establish and expand trade partnerships, dealer networks, and distribution channels.
Develop and manage relationships with overseas buyers, importers, galleries, institutions, and global online platforms.
Strengthen brand visibility through participation in international trade fairs, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, and B2B events across India.
Sales, Client & Relationship Management
Maintain and grow long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
Conduct regular client reviews and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through superior service delivery.
Lead negotiations, proposals, and commercial agreements to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Provide advisory services to clients on art acquisitions, valuations, and investment opportunities in art and collectibles.
Operations, Compliance & Collaboration
Oversee export documentation, pricing strategies, logistics coordination, and trade compliance.
Monitor sales pipelines, lead conversion ratios, and market share growth.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely collections and adherence to payment terms.
Collaborate with the marketing team on digital campaigns, catalogues, exhibitions, and brand communication initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Business.
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development within art, handicrafts, or heritage sectors.
(Experience with art galleries, auction houses, or collectibles markets is strongly preferred.)* Proven track record of managing high-value sales and premium client portfolios.
Strong knowledge of art valuation, provenance, global art markets, trade regulations, and logistics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital marketing platforms.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (domestic and international).
