Job Title : Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Lawyered

Location: Gurgaon, India
Experience: 10-15 years

The company is rapidly growing and seeks a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology team and propel the company to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with company goals, objectives, and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with the executive team to integrate technology into core business operations.
• Partner with functional and product management teams to influence the strategic direction of product development, including Multi-Generation Product Planning (MGPP).
• Drive ideation, prototyping, and deployment of new features and solutions.
• Develop technology business plans and budgets supporting short to mid-long-term growth objectives.
• Provide leadership to agile teams across web development, backend services, and multiple languages.
• Define and monitor KRA\xe2\x80\x99s/KPI\xe2\x80\x99s/OKR\xe2\x80\x99s and IT budgets, providing regular reports on technology-related expenses and ROI.
• Collaborate on digital transformational projects, including IT Strategy, Cyber Security, Cloud Strategy, and Mobility strategy.
• Formulate Build vs Buy Decision strategy for timely product development and strategic dominance.
• Evaluate and manage IT vendors and outsourcing partners, leading RFPs and third-party vendor management.
• Own technical and architectural decision-making, establishing strong engineering processes for timely and quality delivery.
• Ensure excellent user experience, overseeing UI/UX improvements for customer loyalty and higher conversion rates.
• Oversee delivery and operations for ongoing support and maintenance programs, ensuring excellent uptime.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, collaborative technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Identify areas of improvement, partner with stakeholders to drive scalable and profitable solutions.
• Lead cost and delivery optimization opportunities while driving customer value.
• Stay abreast of latest technologies including LLM, NLP, ML, AI, and ensure robust cybersecurity and Data Law Privacy compliance.

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.

Job Requirements & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of legal industry processes, logistic industry knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with team and project management, technical evaluation, and performance assessment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience in B2B, B2C internet technology platform development like eCommerce.
• Proficient with coding and technologies such as Java/NodeJS, JQuery, MySql, MongoDB, React JS.
• Expertise in SDLC/PDLC using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and appreciation of Architecture, Design, Infrastructure, Information Security, and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with relational databases, advanced queries, and object-oriented analysis.
• Understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations (AWS/Azure).
• Proficient in Python programming, and knowledge of ML and AI technologies.
• Experience in big data, data science, and understanding of Whispering agent and chatbot exposure is a plus.
