1. Technology & Digital Strategy-Develop and implement the overall technology roadmap aligned with business and mining objectives. Drive digital transformation across mining operations, logistics, and corporate functions. Identify emerging technologies relevant to mining (automation, AI, IoT, GIS, drones, ERP).
2. Mining Operations Technology- Implement and manage mine planning software, geological modeling tools, fleet management systems, and production monitoring systems. Support adoption of automation, remote operations, and smart mining solutions. Improve productivity through data-driven decision-making.
3. IT Infrastructure & Systems- Oversee IT infrastructure, networking, servers, cloud systems, cyber security, and data management. Lead implementation and maintenance of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / mining ERP). Ensure business continuity, system uptime, and disaster recovery planning.
4. Data, Analytics & Reporting- Establish data governance and analytics frameworks. Provide real-time dashboards for production, safety, maintenance, and cost control. Enable predictive maintenance and performance optimization using analytics.5. Safety, Compliance & Sustainability. Ensure all technology systems comply with DGMS, IBM, Mo EF & CC, and other statutory requirements. Support safety monitoring systems, environmental monitoring, and reporting tools. Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible mining practices using technology.
6. Vendor & Project Management-Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors, consultants, and system integrators. Lead technology-related CAPEX planning, budgeting, and cost control. Oversee technology project execution from concept to deployment.
7. Leadership & Team Development- Build and lead the IT, digital, and mining technology teams. Train and up skill employees on new systems and tools. Collaborate closely with Operations, Geology, Safety, Finance, and HR teams..
