Position Overview



The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for shaping and executing the company's technology vision to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure internet services. The role involves overseeing network architecture, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, systems operations, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.

The CTO will also manage access control, account security, and documentation across all company technology platforms while supporting business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities



1. Strategic & Technical Leadership



Define and implement the company's technology roadmap aligned with business goals. Evaluate and adopt new technologies (fiber, wireless, 5G, SD-WAN, cloud) to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Provide technical direction, risk assessment, and long-term infrastructure planning. Ensure business continuity through robust technology design and disaster recovery planning.

2. Network & Infrastructure Management



Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of ISP network infrastructure, including backbone, PoPs, and data centers. Manage IP addressing, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network optimization. Ensure high network uptime, redundancy, and preventive maintenance. Supervise NOC operations and field engineering teams to maintain service performance.

3. System Administration & Access Control



Oversee all Microsoft 365 global administration and access permissions, ensuring uninterrupted and secure system management. Maintain and safeguard all platform and service accounts connected to cloud vendors, hosting, and software tools. Ensure key administrative and license-linked accounts remain active, protected with strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. Establish clear policies for user creation, modification, and deactivation in collaboration with HR; ensure delegated users are trained and processes are documented.

4. Server & Virtual Infrastructure Management



Manage the company's server and virtualization environment (VMware or equivalent), including configuration, access control, and system monitoring. Maintain documentation of authorized administrative access and enforce security best practices. Oversee data backup, replication, and resource utilization for maximum reliability.

5. Credential & Documentation Management



Maintain a centralized, secure repository containing credentials, URLs, and access details for domains, hosting platforms, and regulatory portals. Ensure this record is encrypted, backed up, and accessible only to authorized personnel. Conduct regular reviews and audits to validate credential accuracy and update logs whenever changes occur.

6. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting



Ensure timely DOT and TRAI filings and compliance with all licensing and operational requirements. Oversee proper maintenance of all regulatory accounts and records, ensuring active credentials and updated documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to align technology operations with government and licensing standards.

7. Cybersecurity & Risk Management



Implement data security policies, including access control, incident response, and vulnerability management. Regularly review and strengthen cybersecurity posture through audits and compliance checks. Ensure proper logging and reporting of security-related incidents.

8. Vendor & Partner Management



Manage relationships with vendors, data center partners, and technology providers. Negotiate and oversee procurement of network equipment, cloud services, and software licenses. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions.

9. Product & Service Innovation



Drive research and development for new ISP services such as IoT connectivity, managed Wi-Fi, cloud hosting, and value-added digital solutions. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align technical capabilities with customer needs.

10. Team Leadership & Development



Build, mentor, and guide technical teams across network, systems, and IT domains. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Support training initiatives to enhance technical capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field. 12+ years of experience in telecom, ISP, or IT infrastructure management. Strong technical expertise in routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), virtualization, cloud computing, and network design. Experience with OSS/BSS platforms, CRM systems, and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
