Role Overview
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for defining and leading the company's technology strategy, strengthening engineering excellence, nurturing a culture of innovation, and driving scalable technology practices aligned with business goals. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role involving both internal capability development and client-facing technology leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy & Execution
Define and drive the overall technology vision aligned with the company's business growth goals.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends and integrate them into service offerings.
Lead the adoption of modern engineering practices, tools, and platforms.
Ensure a strong roadmap for digital transformation, product modernization, and cloud initiatives.
2. Engineering Excellence
Build and mentor a high-performing technical organization (Architects, Engineering Leads, SMEs).
Institutionalize best practices in coding standards, architecture reviews, DevSecOps, and quality engineering.
Strengthen technical governance frameworks across projects and client engagements.
3. Client Engagement & Pre-sales Support
Represent the company as a technology thought leader in key client discussions and presentations.
Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Account Management teams in pre-sales, solutioning, and RFPs.
Articulate technical solutions, value propositions, and differentiation effectively to clients.
4. Talent Development & Capability Building
Identify skill gaps and drive training initiatives in emerging tech (AI, cloud, microservices, etc.).
Mentor architects and senior engineers; develop career paths and technical ladders.
Collaborate with HR and L&D teams on organizational capability maturity.
5. Technology Partnerships & Ecosystem
Build strategic alliances with technology vendors (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, GitHub, etc.).
Represent the company in tech forums and external innovation networks.
Drive co-innovation opportunities with partners and clients.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
18+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior technology leadership role.
Proven track record of leading distributed software engineering teams in a service-based environment.
Expertise in modern software architectures, AI native, cloud-native development, DevOps, and AI/ML.
Strong business acumen and ability to align technology decisions with organizational strategy.
Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
