Job Description

Strategy and risk management:

Develop and implement the company's security strategy, identify and assess risks, and create policies and procedures to mitigate them.

Physical security:

Oversee the safety of personnel and facilities, including managing security guards, controlling access, and developing emergency response plans for threats like fire, medical emergencies, or intrusion.

Cybersecurity:

Manage the protection of the company's digital assets, including data, systems, and intellectual property, by developing strategies to prevent cyberattacks.

Compliance and operations:

Ensure the company complies with relevant regulations and standards, and manage day-to-day security operations.

Incident response:

Lead and coordinate the response to security breaches and incidents, both physical and digital.

Leadership and collaboration:

Manage a security team and collaborate with other executives and departments to align security with business goals.

Training:

Develop and implement training programs for employees on security policies and procedures.

External liaison:

Interact with external agencies, such as local, state, or federal law enforcement, as needed.
