Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
2. Monitor and oversee daily security operations, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and legal regulations.
3. Manage security staff, including recruitment, training, deployment, and performance evaluation.
4. Conduct regular Hazard & Risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
5. Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies during emergencies or incidents.
6. Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety protocols in compliance with local fire regulations.
7. Conduct fire safety training and drills for hospital staff.
8. Supervise the maintenance of fire safety equipment, such as alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
9. Ensure regular inspections of fire exits and pathways to confirm accessibility and functionality.
10. Investigate fire incidents and provide detailed reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
11. Establish and oversee an Emergency Response Team (ERT) to handle crisis situations effectively.
12. Develop and regularly update the hospital's Emergency Response Plan. integrating both security and fire safety aspects.
13. Coordinate and lead responses to emergencies, including evacuations and disaster recovery operations.
14. Ensure hospital compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to security and fire safety.
15. Prepare for and assist with external audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
16. Maintain accurate records of all security and fire safety activities. incidents, and training sessions.
17. Implement NABH protocols within the department
18. Any other task as and when assigned by the management from time to time.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in security and fire safety management. preferably in a healthcare setting.
Security Management, Fire Safety, or a related field. Certification in fire safety or security
