Description
Role Overview
The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the Bank's enterprise-wide risk management framework. This includes identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance, information security, and AML domains.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall risk management function across the Bank, ensuring effective implementation of risk frameworks.
Oversee credit risk, market risk, Information security risk, liquidity & interest rate risk, operational risk, and compliance risk management.
Ensure effective implementation of Basel guidelines and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process.
Supervise internal financial controls, information security risk assessments, and cybersecurity preparedness.
Facilitate Board and Committee discussions on Risk Profile of the organization, level and direction of aggregate and major risk streams, risk appetite, capital adequacy, and emerging risks.
Provide leadership in operational risk, business continuity planning, and anti-money laundering (AML/CFT) compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum
25 years experience in banking with at least 10 years progressive experience in risk management
Strong leadership and strategic decision-making skills.
Proven track record of working with regulatory authorities, auditors, and Board-level committees.
Desirable Professional Qualifications :
Certification in FRM /Professional Risk

Not exceeding
60 years
