Chief Product Officer (E-Commerce & Supply Chain Specialist)

Role Overview
e-commerce platform design and supply chain optimisation. The CPO will drive
product vision, strategy, and execution to create a differentiated platform that serves
both merchants and consumers. This is a critical founding role for shaping the future
of company.
Key Responsibilities
? Define and articulate company's product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with business goals
? Build and mentor a high-performing product management team
? Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
? Conduct user research and translate insights into product requirements
? Oversee end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch
? Design user experiences for merchants, consumers, and internal stakeholders
? Establish product metrics and KPIs; monitor performance and iterate accordingly
? Optimise supply chain workflows and logistics integration within the platform
? Define product architecture and scalability requirements
? Manage product roadmap prioritisation in a resource-constrained environment
? Partner with technology and design teams to deliver high-quality product experiences
? Drive A/B testing and data-driven product decision making
? Stay updated with e-commerce trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
? Represent company nternally and externally as a product thought leader
Required Qualifications
? 12+ years of product management experience, with 6+ years in senior product leadership roles
? Demonstrated expertise in building e-commerce or marketplace platforms from the ground up
? Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and fulfilment optimisation
? Experience designing complex B2B2C platforms with multi-stakeholder needs
? Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with data analytics tools
? Proven ability to prioritise ruthlessly and deliver under constraints
? Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
? Experience leading product teams of 8+ members
? Portfolio of successfully launched products generating significant revenue
Preferred Qualifications
? Background in the Indian e-commerce ecosystem (Flipkart, Amazon, Shopify, etc.)
? Understanding of retail tech, warehouse automation, or last-mile logistics
? Experience with mobile-first product design
? Knowledge of AI/ML applications in e-commerce
? Previous startup founder or early-stage employee experience
? Familiarity with supply chain technologies and ERP systems
