Monitoring Student Behavior:
Observing student activities, both inside and outside the classroom, to identify potential issues and ensure a positive learning environment.
Conflict Resolution:
Mediating disputes between students, faculty, or staff and finding amicable solutions.
Maintaining Records:
Keeping accurate and detailed records of disciplinary actions, student complaints, and other relevant incidents.
Communication:
Effectively communicating with students, parents, and faculty regarding disciplinary matters and institute policies.
Security and Safety:
Working with security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the institute's premises and students.
Coordination with Other Departments:
Collaborating with other departments, such as academics and administration, to address student-related issues.
Proctorial Meetings:
Conducting regular meetings with proctors (if any) to discuss student performance, behavior, and any emerging issues.
Exam Supervision:
In some cases, the Chief Proctor may also be involved in the supervision of examinations to prevent cheating or other malpractices.
