We are seeking a dynamic and experienced COO (Plant Head) to lead end-to-end operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Defence manufacturing processes (preferably small arms), strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in running efficient and compliant production units.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity and quality compliance.
Drive operational excellence across VMC, CNC, and related machining processes.
Lead workforce planning, production scheduling and resource allocation for optimal output.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute business strategies.
Mentor and develop cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 15+ years of experience in manufacturing / operations leadership roles.
Strong technical expertise in VMC/CNC machines, CNC Programs, tool programming and process optimization.
Proven track record of leading large-scale operations in precision engineering/manufacturing industries.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to defense/arms manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
