Job Description

This role is for a highly capable, independent, and strategic professional who can

own and execute

key projects across multiple functions--

product, marketing, operations, finance, HR, and sales

.

As the

right-hand person to the Executive Director

, you will:

?

Take ownership

of high-impact projects from start to finish.

?

Be the single point of contact

for execution--coordinating with teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.

?

Reduce the ED's involvement in execution

by handling the groundwork and only looping them in for key decisions.

?

Solve problems, manage priorities, and ensure smooth execution

of initiatives across the company.

This is

not

an Executive Assistant (EA) role. This is a

leadership and execution

role where you will be responsible for making things happen, proactively identifying challenges, and ensuring that the ED can focus on

high-level strategy and decision-making

without getting bogged down in operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Project Execution

Take ownership

of key initiatives--whether it's launching a new product, improving operations, or driving a marketing campaign. Work with

creatives, manufacturers, agencies, suppliers, and internal teams

to execute projects from start to finish. Identify

bottlenecks

and ensure timely completion of projects with minimal involvement from the ED. Ensure high-quality output by

coordinating with vendors

(e.g., label manufacturers, packaging designers, marketing agencies).

2. Business Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as a

bridge

between departments (marketing, sales, product, finance, and HR) to ensure smooth execution. Ensure the

right people are involved at the right time

to prevent delays and confusion.

Set up processes

that improve efficiency and reduce dependency on the ED for day-to-day tasks. Keep an eye on

operational gaps and inefficiencies

and proactively implement solutions.

3. Founder's Right-Hand & Key Meetings

Prepare and shadow the ED

during key meetings, ensuring action items are executed afterward. Follow up on

strategic tasks

, ensuring accountability across teams. Represent the ED in meetings and decision-making when required. Manage

vendor negotiations, external partnerships, and agreements

to streamline decision-making.

4. Market Research & Business Growth

Track market trends, competitor movements, and industry insights

to inform business decisions. Research and recommend

strategic opportunities for expansion and innovation

. Support in

new product launches

, packaging innovations, and strategic growth initiatives.

5. Performance Tracking & Execution Ownership

Set up and track

key performance indicators (KPIs)

for the sales team. Ensure teams are

delivering results

and projects are moving forward on time. Identify and

remove roadblocks

that are slowing down progress.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Skills

Strong

business acumen

and execution skills--able to

run projects independently

with minimal guidance. Experience working in a

fast-paced, high-growth environment

(FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing). Ability to

break down complex tasks, delegate effectively, and ensure execution

. Strong

problem-solving skills

--can

anticipate roadblocks and solve them before they escalate

. Highly

organized and detail-oriented

, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

, able to handle vendors, external stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.

Mindset & Cultural Fit

Extreme ownership

- You take full responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.

Proactive & self-starter

- You don't wait for instructions; you

find problems and solve them

.

Hands-on operator

- You're not just a strategist; you get things done.

High EQ and people skills

- You can work with different teams, align interests, and keep everyone on track.

Work with speed & efficiency

- You value execution and results over unnecessary discussions.
