We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to join our leadership team at Desh Bhagat University. Located in Punjab, this role is crucial for driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives that align with our mission of delivering quality education and fostering student development.
Responsibilities:
Lead the operational strategy and execution to ensure alignment with the university's goals.
Oversee daily operations and implement effective processes to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively.
Drive change management initiatives to improve organizational performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.
Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards.
Mentor and develop senior management teams.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in other managerial roles within the higher education sector.
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, etc.
In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and performance management frameworks.
Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
