Job Description

The COO is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the hospital. The role ensures smooth functioning of clinical and non-clinical departments, drives efficiency, manages budgets, enforces quality standards, and supports the hospital's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:Operations & Administration



Oversee hospital operations including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic, and support services. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditations, and statutory requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, SOPs, and performance standards. Ensure optimal utilization of resources, equipment, and infrastructure.

Financial & Strategic Management



Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, control costs, and improve revenue cycles. Support CEO/Board in strategic planning, expansion, and business development initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports.

Clinical & Patient Care Support



Coordinate between medical, nursing, and administrative teams for seamless patient care. Support quality initiatives such as NABH/JCI accreditation and continuous improvement programs. Address patient feedback and grievances, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.

Human Resources & Leadership



Lead, mentor, and evaluate departmental heads (clinical and non-clinical). Ensure proper staffing, training, and professional development for all hospital employees. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.

Technology & Innovation



Oversee hospital information systems, electronic medical records, and IT infrastructure. Drive digital transformation and adoption of innovative healthcare solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:



Master's degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Business Administration (MHA/MBA/PGDHM or equivalent). 12-15+ years of experience in hospital operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Proven track record in operational excellence, financial management, and strategic execution. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Conditions:



Full-time, based at hospital premises. Extended working hours as per hospital requirements. High-pressure environment with responsibility for 24/7 hospital operations.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
