The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as the CEO's primary strategic partner and second-in-command, overseeing all major business functions including Sales, Technical/Engineering, Finance, Production/Manufacturing, and Operations. The COO will ensure seamless execution of company strategy, operational excellence, and cross-departmental alignment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Partner with the CEO to develop and implement company strategy.
Translate organizational goals into actionable operational plans.
Provide leadership and support to all department heads.
2. Operational Management
Oversee daily operations across Sales, Technical, Finance, Production, Supply Chain, HR, and Customer Support.
Improve operational KPIs around efficiency, quality, productivity, and profitability.
Implement systems and processes to streamline operations.
3. Sales & Business Growth
Work closely with the sales leadership team to drive revenue growth.
Support market expansion and customer acquisition strategies.
Analyze sales performance and market trends to guide business decisions.
4. Technical / Engineering Oversight
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment on product development and innovation.
Oversee technology initiatives and operational readiness.
5. Financial Governance
Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Monitor financial performance, cost management, and ROI.
Ensure compliance with statutory and financial regulations.
6. Production & Supply Chain Management
Oversee manufacturing operations for quality and timely delivery.
Strengthen supply chain efficiency and vendor management.
Improve inventory, logistics, and cost optimization.
7. People & Culture Leadership
Build a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration.
Mentor senior managers and support leadership development.
Ensure HR policies support organizational growth.
8. Risk Management & Compliance
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
08-12+ years of senior leadership experience (COO, VP Operations, Business Head, GM, etc.).
Experience managing cross-functional teams (Sales, Technical, Operations, Finance).
Proven track record of scaling operations and driving organizational transformation.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
