COO Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the digital transactional platform. Ensure smooth functioning of app, website, backend systems, and transaction flows. Coordinate closely with the tech team to resolve issues and improve platform performance. Monitor digital gold allocation, reconciliation, and vault-related operations. Manage KYC, AML, and compliance-driven operational workflows. Ensure payment gateway operations, settlements, and refunds run smoothly. Drive process improvements and establish strong SOPs across all operations. Monitor platform uptime, error logs, API health, and user activity. Manage risk controls and ensure secure transaction handling. Build and lead teams in operations, customer support, compliance, and tech coordination. Improve customer experience through efficient service and quick issue resolution. Collaborate with CEO on execution of strategy and product enhancements. Track operational KPIs and ensure cost-efficient, high-quality execution. Maintain accurate dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.

Desired Background

8-15 years of experience in fintech or digital operations. Strong exposure to payments, wallets, trading platforms, or digital gold ecosystems. Understanding of APIs, payment flows, reconciliation, and platform functionality. Experience managing KYC/AML processes and regulatory operations. Ability to coordinate with technology teams on releases, bugs, and system stability. Strong skills in process building, system improvement, and execution management. Leadership experience managing cross-functional operational teams. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Engineering, IT, or operations background preferred; MBA adds value.
