The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for balancing clinical duties with administrative leadership. The role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective supervision and mentoring of Duty Medical Officers (DMOs), while acting as a critical link between hospital administration and medical staff.
Job description & Job Requirements:
Balancing the duties of a DMOs with that of an administrator.
Ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of medical care.
Being responsible for the performance of DMOs under your supervision.
Ensuring that all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met.
Keeping staff updated on new healthcare regulations.
Finding ways to improve clinical services.
Liaising between the administration and medical staff.
Mentoring DMOs.
Educational Qualifications:
MBBS (mandatory)
MD / DNB / Diploma (Family Medicine or equivalent preferred)
Licensing:
Valid medical license with relevant medical council
Experience:
Minimum 2-7 years of clinical experience
, preferably in a
corporate hospital or organized healthcare setting

Prior experience in hospital administration or supervisory roles preferred
