Position - CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER (CMO)(ALUMINA, METAL & FOOD INDUSTRY)Reporting Directly: CEO/ Managing DirectorKey Responsibilities:- Develop targeted marketing campaigns for Steel manufacturers, Metal Fabricators and Food processing clients using Alumina and Bauxite products. - Conduct market research on Indian steel trends, competitive benchmarking, and export opportunities.- Lead digital initiatives, trade events (e.g., India Steel Expo), and content to generate B2B leads. - Support launches of specialized products like high-purity alumina for steel deoxidizers and food-safe aluminum. - Ensure marketing materials comply with Indian standards (BIS, FSSAI) and export regulations.Strategic Responsibilities:- Analyze domestic Steel production growth, Bauxite availability in Odisha/Gujarat, and Global metal pricing to target PSU steel plants and private players.- Build ESG branding for Low-carbon Alumina in Green Steel initiatives under India's National Steel Policy.- Forge partnerships with steel associations (ISA), food industry bodies, and export councils for co-marketing.- Align with 5-year plans for expanding into specialty alloys and food packaging metals via Make in India focus.Operational Responsibilities:- Manage pan-India marketing team, CRM (e.g., Zoho/ Salesforce), and tools for campaign execution.- Manage - 60-80 Cr. annual marketing budget, targeting 5:1+ ROI with quarterly reviewsQualification & Experience:- Bachelor's in marketing, Business, or Engineering; MBA from top Indian B-school (IIMs/ XLRI) preferred.- 15+ years in marketing leadership, with 8+ years in metals/steel/mining sectors; alumina/bauxite or food-grade experience advantageous.- Proven success in Indian B2B markets, digital transformation, and navigating steel industry dynamics.
